Dawgs lead for one of the best in state
Georgia had a number of talented prospects on campus Saturday for their first Junior Day of 2008 and they had one of the top athletes in the state there. Prince Kent has offers from many top programs including Georgia and the Dawgs impressed him quite a bit.
"I got over to Georgia around 11am ET and I checked in and everything before the visit started," said Kent. "After that, they talked to us about academics, the weight training programs, the nutritional program, and things like that."
"They then showed us the dorms, we met some of the players, and then we ate lunch. After that, we got some time with the coaches."
Getting time with the coaches was one of Kent's highlights.
"The coaches were great - all of them. I got to talk with my recruiting coach, Coach [Stacy] Searels, Coach [Willie] Martinez, Coach [John] Eason, and Coach [Mark] Richt. All of them were really nice."
"I got my fair share with all of them and that was cool. Coach Martinez pulled me aside and he told me he watched my film and he loved everything about me. He said he loved my size, how I play physical, and that he would have nothing to worry about if I would come play for him. He just told me that he would love to have me there."
