Williams approaching his decision
The 2008 version of the Red-White scrimmage may not have been as big a recruiting weekend as in years past but there is no denying that the talent on campus was of an elite caliber. One of the most highly ranked players in the group is Dallas Skyline cornerback Steve Williams, who had talked about committing to Oklahoma prior to his arrival. The 5-foot-10, 160-pound speedster did make it to Norman for the first time but the decision hasn't come down, yet.
"It went pretty good, I liked it a lot, I just want to get my mom to go down there with me and then I'll probably make my decision," Williams said. "I think we're going to come up in a couple of weeks to see if they like it. They are pretty cool with it but want me to see it for myself. It will be my mom, my granny and my pa-pa."
