Three-star LB waiting on new offers
Recruiting has been moving kind of slow according to Port Sulpher, La., linebacker Seth Ancar.
The 6-foot-0, 198-pounder only has one offer at this point but was recently given a three-star ranking and rated the No. 28 inside linebacker in the country. Ancar is hoping his recent accolades will have more offers rolling in.
"It should help me get my name out there more," Ancar said. "At least I hope so. I understand how the thing goes because I'm six-foot, almost 200-pounds and I wished I could have been a four-star but I'm going to keep working. That's the one thing about me is I'm going to keep working."
But just because he only has one offer does not mean schools have not shown him any attention. Ancar was told by a handful of programs that are on the verge of sending offers.
"Recruiting is going slow so far," Ancar said. "I've been talking to a few colleges though. I've got an offer from Louisiana Tech so far and I am supposed to be receiving one in the mail from SMU. Grambling is talking about offering me and I'm supposed to get an offer from Alcorn State and ULM (Louisiana-Monroe)."
Ancar will also attempt to raise his stock over the summer attending several camps.
