Lost to host Argentina in the finals... Tied for second on the team with eight steals in five games... In May 2008, played on a high school all-star team sponsored by adidas in Shanghai, China... Freshman Season (2008-09): Appeared in all but three games during the season... Shot 56.9 percent from the field, including 75 percent (12-for-16) in his last 13 games played... Played 10-plus minutes in eight games, including three Big 12 contests... Scored a career-high nine points in eight minutes at Missouri (2/9)... One of four Jayhawks to average at least 30 minutes per game... Scored a career-high 28 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field at Oklahoma (1/7), just one game after recording his first career double-double versus Kansas State (1/4) with 16 points and 11 rebounds...
