Now that the Class of 2010 is in school and already making an impact this season, Rivals.com has recalculated its final team recruiting rankings to account for prospects that did not make it to campus for the 2010 season.
Attrition in the USC class dropped the Trojans from No. 1 to No. 3 with the big hit coming from five-star OT Seantrel Henderson and his decision to play at Miami.
The Gators lost two Rivals250 signees but brought a class loaded with elite talent to campus and claimed the No. 1 spot in the enrolled rankings.
Signing Day Rank: 2
Biggest Loss: S Jordan Haden Buzz: The Florida class lost two Rivals250 prospects when safety Jordan Haden and receiver Adrian Coxson each decided not to stick around in Gainesville. Even with the losses, the Gators locked up the top spot when five-star OT Seantrel Henderson didn't honor his Signing Day commitment to USC.
Signing Day Rank: 1
Biggest Loss: OT Seantrel Henderson Buzz: The Tojans have taken some hits this offseason and the biggest blow to this class was Henderson's decision to enroll at Miami. He wasn't the only signee who decided to head to the Sunshine State, as junior college linebacker Glen Stanley ended up at Florida State.
Signing Day Rank: 6
Biggest Loss: OG Elliott Porter Buzz: The Tigers managed to get all of their signees in school for a second straight year. In fact, they brought too many players to campus in 2010 and OL Elliott Porter has transferred to Kentucky as the odd man out in the class.
Signing Day Rank: 4
Biggest Loss: OT Shon Coleman Buzz: Five-star offensive lineman Shon Coleman was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in the spring and is now undergoing treatment with the hope of returning to football. Two five-star signees did make it to campus as Cameron Newton will start at quarterback and RB Michael Dyer will share carries in the Auburn backfield.
Signing Day Rank: 13
Biggest Loss: CB Troy Hill Buzz: The talented Oregon class should provide solid depth for a veteran squad in 2010. The class features future stars on both sides of ball that the Ducks won't need to rush into action.
Signing Day Rank: 12
Biggest Loss: ATH Shyquawn Pullium Buzz: Penn State fans won't have to wait to see their quarterback of the future as freshman Robert Bolden was recently named the starter for the opener.
Signing Day Rank: 24
Biggest Loss: DT Tavadis Glenn Buzz: The Hurricanes lost three and added two prospects after Signing Day. The additions were big ones in five-star athlete Latwan Anderson and five-star lineman Seantrel Henderson.
Signing Day Rank: 15
Biggest Loss: RB D.J. Jones Buzz: The loss of four-star RB D.J. Jones is disappointing, but two other four-star running back recruits did make it to campus and OT Luke Joeckel has already cracked the starting lineup.
Signing Day Rank: 14
Biggest Loss: OT Matt James Buzz: Offensive lineman Matt James died tragically before making it to campus and DB Spencer Boyd left school after enrolling early. But the class has already made its mark on the depth chart and TJ Jones has earned a starting role.
Signing Day Rank: 16
Biggest Loss: DE Jalen Fields Buzz: A class loaded with talent on the defensive side of the ball took a hit when Jalen Fields didn't make it into school. New defensive coordinator Todd Grantham has a nice infusion of young talent to help ease his transition.
Signing Day Rank: 20
Biggest Loss: S Demar Dorsey Buzz: The Wolverines could have used the talents of Dorsey, but CB Cullen Christian and QB Devin Gardner are just two of the potential stars in this class.
Signing Day Rank: 18
Biggest Loss: WR Martavis Bryant Buzz: Rivals100 WR Martavis Bryant and four-star DE Corey Crawford can't help Clemson on the field this year as they will play the 2010 season at Hargrave Military Academy.
