Pitt added another recruit at a position of need Friday night when Hamilton (Oh.) offensive tackle Adam Pankey announced his commitment to play for the Panthers.
Pankey picked Pitt over his final choices of West Virginia, Illinois, and North Carolina State. His commitment was announced after Hamilton's season finale against rival Fairfield.
Pankey, 6'5" 290, is the 19th recruit overall and the third offensive lineman to commit to Pitt in the class of 2012. Pitt's other line commits are Fox Chapel tackle Adam Bisnowaty and Cincinnati (Oh.) St. Xavier offensive lineman Brandyn Cook.
