After leading Tulsa to its seventh consecutive victory and 12th C-USA win in a row, Tulsa senior quarterback G.J. Kinne has been named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week.
The Defensive Player of the Week honor went to Houston senior linebacker Sammy Brown, who led a dominating defensive performance in the Cougars win over SMU with a career-best day. Special Teams recognition went to Rice junior kicker Chris Boswell, who kicked a pair of 50+ yard field goals in the Owls win over Tulane.
C-USA Football Players of the Week are voted on by a panel of the league's media.
