The Hokies didn't have to wait until the end of the day to gain another commitment.
This morning, Ponte Vedra (Fla.) three-star tight end Kyle Chung gave his commitment to Virginia Tech, becoming the Hokies' 13th commitment.
"It just felt like home," Chung told HokieHaven.com.
Chung could follow in his father's footsteps at Virginia Tech as well. Eugene Chung was a standout for Virginia Tech and coach Frank Beamer from 1988-92. Even during and after Eugene's NFL career, which began as the No. 13 pick in the 1992 draft with the New England Patriots and spanned another five seasons.
The younger Chung said his recruitment might not be over though. He still plans on taking visits to Miami and Arkansas.
Check back this afternoon for a video interview with Chung.
