Four-star cornerback J.C. Jackson of Immokalee, Fla., has been committed to Florida since June, but has kept his options open. After taking a few official visits, Jackson finally made it official and will play his college ball for the Gators.
Jackson, 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds, is ranked as the No. 243 player nationally, the No. 21 player nationally at his position and the No. 37 player in Florida. He chose the Gators over Florida State and Miami.
Jackson took his official visit to Florida on Jan. 17. He also took a visit to Miami in December and Florida State this past weekend. He becomes part of an extremely impressive group of defensive secondary prospects, joining five-star Jalen Tabor and four-stars Duke Dawson and Quincy Wilson.
