Offensive line Nominations The Riddell Footwear High School
All-America Football Team consists of the best football players in the
entire country. Additionally, the team will bestow seven special coaching
awards - one to the national high school coach of the year and six more
to regional coaches of the year throughout the country. Here are the nominations
for the offensive line. The actual team members will be announced
in January, along with the Riddell Footwear National Coach of the Year
and six Riddell Footwear Regional Coaches of the Year.
Blalock Plano (Texas) East Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 325 pounds
40-yard dash: 5.0 seconds
One of the best offensive lineman not
only in Texas, but the entire country. Has an upper-body that looks like a
body-builder, but he also moves well. He is a smash-mouth run blocker.
College choices: Florida,
Miami, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, Northwestern and Ohio State.
Bonelli Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 280 pounds
40-yard dash: 4.9 seconds
Bonelli is one of the top
offensive linemen in California and in the western region. With more than 20
scholarship offers by early summer, he ended the recruiting process early with
a commitment to Notre Dame.
One of the nation's elite
offensive tackles, Justice can do whatever you need him to do. Need him to
pull and get a fast-rushing end, no problem. Need him to fit into your
pass-happy offense, no problem. Simply put, Justice is one of the best of the
best in the nation.
College choices: UCLA,
Florida, Oklahoma, USC, Tennessee and Washington.
Rhodes is widely considered to be
one of it not the top offensive tackle recruit in the country. He really
doesn't have any weakness on the field. He can run and pass block with anybody
in the country. His abilities earned him junior all-state selection and multiple
preseason All-American honors going into his senior season.
College choices: Michigan,
Nebraska, Tennessee, UCLA and Washington.
Toeaina was one of the biggest
sleepers in California, but he's not a secret anymore. That's because his
stock has shot through the roof, and he's now considered as one of the best
offensive linemen in the Golden State.
College choices: Washington,
LSU, Notre Dame, USC and Fresno State.
