We're two days from National Signing Day, and that also means the start of spring practice is just around the corner. Starting with the C-USA, here's a look at the start dates for all 120 FBS teams plus the overriding problem each program must deal with during spring drills.[details]
An undersized back who displays a good burst to his game in the open field with the ability to accelerate past defenders in space, McNeal possesses good straight-line speed and has some suddenness and wiggle once he gets to top end speed. He looks natural when asked to catch the ball out of the backfield and can create on the perimeter. He showcases good lateral agility at the line of scrimmage but isn't decisive. He struggles to quickly identify run lanes and has a tendency to dance behind the line in order to find the hole. He runs with a decent pad level inside but lacks the power to push the pile and break tackles inside. McNeal looks much more instinctive in space when he can set up blocks and run to daylight. He's a former transfer from Miami and decided to leave early this season in order to help his family financially. Overall, he's more of an open-field runner who could carve out a niche as a third-down back.
