I am curious how the account blacklisted message states:

"Please note that repeated violations of this board's rules have resulted in this blacklisting"

yet you have the authority to blacklist an account for a year based on single posts and first time offenders.

Why post such rules if you have the authority to override them?

Hi, Soonerfactor. I just tried to reply to a post on TMB, and it appears that my account has been locked for one week? If it is because of the thread regarding the Chicago video, I completely agree that many posters crossed the line, even using racial slurs. The insidious comments by others do not reflect my personal feelings. I should not have made the comment about white people, and I do apologize. If you can do me one favor, I would appreciate it. I have been helping poster "category5cane" to locate a particular firearm, and I see that he created a new thread on TMB directly to me, asking for some advice. Since I cannot respond to him, could you please respond in his thread and let him know that I will try to help him once my account is unlocked? Or, if you have his email address (and mine) you are welcome to send him an email and let him know my address, and that he can contact me directly. Thanks, soonerfactor...and again, I'm sorry you were put in this situation. I know it is a tough spot and was a difficult decision to make. - GorfDenroh
