The Bearcats are one of a few leaders for Ohio athlete Skylar Jones. Cincinnati is in his top six and they are one of just four schools to have offered him. Jones continues to claim he'd like to make a commitment before the season
. Another player the Bearcats are waiting on to possibly commit soon is Westerville receiver B.J. Cunningham who has Cincinnati in his top two and is considering making a commitment by early July
. Even though the 2007 recruiting has hardly started up, Cincinnati has already jumped into the hunt for 2008 linebacker Brandon Beachum. The prospect was thrilled about landing his first offer and it appears to have made quite an impression.

Connecticut had a good recent visit from Pennsylvania lineman Gary Bardzak. The 6-foot-4, 292-pounder plans to take in a one-day camp with the Huskies later this month
. Jacksonville cornerback Jamire Williams is reportedly still looking hard at UConn despite other offers coming from Tennessee, Nebraska, South Carolina and others
.. The Huskies stayed in New England to offer local Massachusetts stand out Anthony Sherman. The linebacker prospect is very excited about the offer because it's close to home. In fact he even considered committing, but wants to wait and see what else happens in recruiting first.

Though they have no commitments, Louisville did offer tight end Cameron Joplin this past week. The Ann Arbor, Mich. prospect now is up to five offers and recognizes that Louisville is the top football school on the list. Despite that he hasn't named any leaders yet
.. The Cardinals haven't offered Ohio's Bernie Agnew, but they are one of the top four schools for the receiver prospect and he's seriously considering an official to Louisville this fall
..Florida's Clyde Yandell holds 15 offers and he claims Louisville is one of his top teams along with Maryland, Nebraska and Virginia Tech.

Pittsburgh continues to await word from Rivals100 receiver Nick Sukay who is believed to be making a decision sometime next week after he heads to South Bend this weekend. The Panthers are in the hunt along with Penn State and Notre Dame. Currently it is believed Penn State is his leader, but he continues to maintain that all the schools are even
.. Pittsburgh got some good news at the receiver position this last week landing local wideout Don DeCicco. He selected the Panthers over offers from Arizona State, Georgia Tech, Indiana and others
.. Lineman Gino Gradkowski is expected to decide by the end of next week whether he'll be staying in Pittsburgh or heading to Morgantown.

Huge Trenton Central lineman Keith Newell is the latest Scarlet Knight and he has a great frame to work with. Newell is a massive 6-foot-7, 280-pounder who could play offensive or defensive line for Rutgers
Rutgers found out they are one of nine schools still in the hunt for New York offensive tackle John Elliott. Rutgers is in the hunt along with Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Boston College, Virginia and others
.The recent commitment of quarterback Cody Catalina to Syracuse likely makes Rutgers the team to beat now for New York quarterback David Legree.

South Florida is looking to get a visit from Rivals250 wide receiver Dion Lecorn. The four-star prospect plans to attend a seven-on-seven camp in July and maintains that he still very interested in the Bulls
.. Ft. Lauderdale tight end A.J. Johnson currently lists South Florida as one of his leaders and he has an early offer from the Bulls. Johnson recently won a body painting contest at the Miami-Detroit Eastern Conference Finals and received a free trip to Dallas for Game 2 of the NBA Championship as the prize.

Greg Robinson and Syracuse got a nice surprise this week when their top quarterback target Cody Catalina committed to the Orangemen over offers from Rutgers, Vanderbilt and others. The decision means Catalina joins fellow Central Catholic star Max Suter as a future Orangeman. Sadly Syracuse won't be able to land the Central Catholic trifecta since Rivals100 star Nick Sukay has narrowed his list to Penn State, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame
.. Another big-time recruit Syracuse has been going after is fast-rising defensive tackle Donald Langley. The 6-foot-2, 267-pounder out of Germantown (Md.) Seneca Valley recently announced Syracuse was in his top five and now he has confirmed he will be visiting the Orange sometime this summer.

The Mountaineers have received good news this week with the addition of two new recruits including in-state star Chad Snodgrass and Virginia athlete Brandon Hogan. The Snodgrass commitment wasn't a complete surprise considering the Mountaineers were his childhood favorite. On the other hand, Hogan's commitment was particularly impressive considering they went into ACC country and landed the star over offers from the SEC and ACC.
. West Virginia is waiting on word from offensive lineman Gino Gradkowski who plans to decide between the Mountaineers and Pittsburgh by the end of next week. Though he claims there aren't any favorites, West Virginia is believed to be the leader.
