D.C. cornerback blowing up

Player number 142 entered the State College Nike Camp as a relative unknown outside of his native Washington, D.C. But by the end of the day coaches were very familiar with H.D. Woodson defensive back Tavon Wilson.

The 6-foot, 175-pound cornerback prospect was phenomenal in the one-on-one portion of the Nike Camp. The energetic defender jumped in every chance he got and knocked down ball after ball that was thrown his way. He even showed exceptional hands in picking off a few passes.

His enthusiasm and hard work has paid off as he has claimed offers from Maryland, Illinois, Michigan State, and a new one from Boston College.
