Nevada athlete has 10 offers

Four-star athlete prospect Kyle Van Noy (6-3, 200, 4.6) from Reno (Nev.) McQueen has been a known commodity on the Nevada football seen since his sophomore year.

Some schools are recruiting Van Noy as an athlete, some like him at wide receiver and others think he would be an outstanding outside linebacker.

The two-way standout earned first-team all-league, first-team all-region and first-team all-state honors for his performance as a defensive end. He earned second-team all-region and second-team all-league as a wide receiver.

From his defensive end spot, Van Noy accounted for 69 tackles, 27 tackles for loss, seven forced fumbles, 6.5 sacks, four deflected passes, two picks and two fumble recoveries. Van Noy hauled in 49 receptions for 765 yards and 13 touchdowns as a receiver.

Van Noy has 10 offers on the table from Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, BYU, San Diego State, UNLV, Nevada, and Boise State.
