Morgan Moses enjoys Blacksburg

Richmond (Va.) Meadowbrook offensive tackle Morgan Moses took his second unofficial visit to Blacksburg, Va. to watch the Hokies take on Virginia in an in-state battle. The atmosphere and the win over the Cavaliers moved the Hokies higher up on the five-star's list, but how high?

"I'd say you could put them even with Virginia for in-state schools," said the 6-foot-7, 347-pounder. "I really liked the atmosphere there and the crowd was amazing. I've been to Virginia a few more times but my two trips to Virginia Tech have been good. The game was a good one too."

Moses, who has taken an official visit to West Virginia already, fit in with the numerous recruits on hand as well as with the players and coaches.

"I got to visit with coach Cavanaugh for a little bit and coach Stinespring and coach Beamer and I got to see John (ex-Meadowbrook star John Graves and talk to him a bit," said Moses. "And I spent some time with Kevin Newsome and a bunch of other recruits. It was a fun visit."

Moses hasn't narrowed down his list of schools much at this point and said he won't take any official visits until after the U.S. Army All American Bowl in early January.

"I am still talking to Alabama about setting up a visit for January and I'm trying to get in touch with Ohio State," he said. "I'm not really sure what other schools I'll visit because I've been to a lot of them. I spoke with Lane Kiffin a little bit this week and I'll talk to him more next week about Tennessee. I've been to Knoxville a couple of times but they want me to come on an official visit as well. I'm in the process of figuring it all out."

In the meantime it seems that Virginia Tech has made up a lot of ground when it comes to Moses.

"I always liked them but didn't really know a lot about them," he said. "Now that I've been there again I have a better feel. I still don't have a leader or anything and I'm still considering a bunch of schools. I'm heading to Hawaii next week for an all-star game and then I have the U.S. Army Bowl so I won't be able to take any official visits until next month."

Moses currently lists interest in Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and North Carolina.
