Brehaut talks scrimmage

With six practices and a few new more days of college under his belt, true freshman quarterback Richard Brehaut was once again thrown to the wolves and he lived to tell the tale. Brehaut spent some time with the media after the scrimmage and gave his thoughts on the day.

Is it frustrating on when the defense is obviously pretty good?

Brehaut: "Yeah, the defense is going to be a little ahead of us right now just because the offense we have to put in a little more stuff, but we still have to get things done. There are no excuses. We can't make excuses out here, you just have to make plays."

How do you feel? It was your first major scrimmage without the coaches in the huddle with you…

Brehaut: "I felt pretty good. We were getting plays called in from sideline just like in a game. You have a bunch of people here, just like the game. It felt good to get out here and finally play in game conditions. It's not just practice, there's little more on the line, it was a scrimmage. So it felt good to get out here and be full go and no letting up. It felt good."
