Timbers leads the way
Pittsburgh (PA) Woodland Hills running back Dom Timbers is now two seasons removed from a torn ACL and he is running with a purpose.
"My season is going good. My line is good right now and with that being that it is giving me the opportunity to get the yards and to do what I am doing. I think I have about 13 touchdowns and around 800 yards."
Timbers, 5-foot-10, 185 pounds is having a solid season himself, but his Woodland Hills team is also playing well as a whole.
"We are 6-1 right now, so it is pretty good we are playing hard."
His high school team is looking solid at this point in the season and even though his future team is not enjoying the same kind of success he is pleased with the growth.
"They are playing good. They have lost a couple games, but they are looking good."
Back in July when Timbers was on the Syracuse campus he had a great time that led to his commitment. That one day in the summer was the last time he was in Syracuse. No visit has been set for him to get back to his future school, but he stays close to the program by talking with Orange Linebackers Coach Dan Conley.
"After going up there and giving my verbal I have not been back up there. I just stay in touch with Coach Conley."
