Top-ranked KU not looking past Oakland

On Monday afternoon, Kansas (3-0; 0-0) head coach Bill Self, standing behind a podium inside the new media room located inside Allen Fieldhouse, spoke to a group of reporters about Wednesdays game against Oakland (1-2; 0-0). Last season, the Golden Grizzlies won 23 games and posted an impressive 13-5 record in the Summit League. As he did on Monday, Self will remind his team several times before Wednesday's tipoff, that this Oakland team, which returns a majority of its players from last year, is no pushover. Self will make sure his squad knows that looking past the Golden Grizzlies simply isn't an option.
