SoCal JC DB climbing the charts

One of the fastest rising junior college players is cornerback/safety, Malcolm Murray (6-2, 210, 4.4) from Walnut (Calif.) Mt. SAC. He played his high school ball at Gardena (Calif.) Serra where he was a first-team all-league, all-area, all-CIF and all-state performer.

Murray on the season has three picks, two while playing safety and one whole playing corner with a lot of pass breakups but the amount is unknown. One of his picks, he returned back 85 yards for a score. He has the ability to play either safety or cornerback on the next level and is being recruited for his skills at both.

On the recruiting trail, Murray has six offers from Kansas, Illinois, Minnesota, Louisville, Nevada and Arizona.
