Fobbs sets up visits, talks commitment status

Shreveport (LA) Huntington athlete Jarrett Fobbs surprised many in his home state when he shunned LSU in favor of committing to Texas A&M in early August. The four-star prospect received his first offer from the Aggies and had several ties to the school that were hard for the in-state Tigers to match.

However, ever since his pledge, Fobbs has maintained that he still plans to take other official visits. Though he is verbally committed to the Aggies, he does not want to shut the door completely on recruiting. This past weekend, he missed A&M's biggest official visit weekend because his brother was playing in the SWAC Championship game for Prairie View A&M. Though he has yet to reschedule, he has set up a visit to another school.
