Three-star corner planning another visit

Three-star cornerback RobDonovan Lewis has already taken two official visits to Louisiana Tech and Minnesota.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder from Jonesboro, La., is now in the process of setting up his third to Mississippi State.

"Both of those visits went great," Lewis said. "I really liked their facilities and stuff. Minnesota had a bunch of new stuff. I don't have any other visits planned yet. I'm supposed to go to Mississippi State but we haven't set it up yet."

Lewis earned a scholarship offer from the Bulldogs after a standout performance at one of their summer camps.

Lewis received a visit from MSU assistant coach John Hevesy just before the holiday break at Hodge High School.

"I haven't heard from Mississippi State since we went on Christmas break but they told me that they wanted me to come visit after the season," Lewis said. "Coach Hevesy came a couple of weeks before the break. He just told me he wanted me to come on a visit to check out the school and see what I wanted to do."

Lewis has not visited Starkville since the summer but caught a couple of the Bulldogs games on TV this season and was impressed with the fans at Davis Wade Stadium.
