Rivera narrows schools down

A few weeks have passed since College of the Canyons tight end prospect Mychal Rivera updated his recruitment. Last time he spoke about it he mentioned a few offers and one he was not so sure of. Now everything has been cleared up and he is ready to start scheduling his visits.

Rivera, 6-foot-4, 230 pounds was under the impression that Syracuse University was going to offer him, but he was not 100 percent sure of the situation. After looking at his options again he found out about the status of the Syracuse offer.

"Actually Syracuse has not offered yet."

Will the Orange offer the JUCO tight end prospect?

"I do not know about that yet," Rivera said.

The talented California product does know four visits he will be taking and when he plans to set them up.

"Everything with the visits is the same. Right now I am scheduling all of my visits with the schools California, Kansas State, South Carolina, and Utah State. I am scheduling all of those visits at the start of the New Year and they are all even right now. That is where I am right now."

Before heading to College of the Canyons Rivera was set to attend Oregon as a three star prospect out of high school.
