Zimmerman Gets One-on-One Treatment

It's been a few years since one of Oklahoma's long-time proven talent producing schools, Lawton, Okla., put out a player to be remembered and while most already know about 2011 quarterback Cody Miller he is far from the only star junior for the Wolverines. In fact the player who is starting to pick up some real attention is the man on the other end of his passes.

6-foot 178-pound receiver Tyrequek Zimmerman was a known name as a sophomore but during a junior season that saw him average over 18-yards per catch on 43-receptions his recruitment is quickly picking up steam.

His first dive into the recruiting world was Saturday's Sooner State junior day at Oklahoma and Zimmerman enjoyed his first taste of life as a recruit.

"It was cool, they just toured us around the places and talked to us about the schools, the tutoring staff and that type of stuff," Zimmerman said. "It was my second time on the campus and my first time to really tour anything. I was down there during track season, it's cool I like it there."
