TE talks about Oregon State visit

The immediate response from the biggest recruiting weekend of the year out of Corvallis is looking good for the Oregon State program. They received two verbal commitments from teammates out of Oakland Tech in the Bay Area and firmed up many of the previous verbal commitments after a great weekend.

BeaverBlitz has been in touch with most of the visitors and we just got off the phone with Ventura, CA (Buena) Tight End Tyler Perry, who gave us a summary of the weekend and his thoughts on where things are headed for the Beaver program.

The 6-foot-5, 240 pound athlete gave us the scoop on how things went and what he expects to come of the weekend.

"It was a great trip overall. Everyone up there is good people and the coaches did a great job of presenting the school and the program to all of the recruits and their families. I can barely breathe because I ate so much but there is nothing wrong with that" said a laughing Perry.
