A new QB family descends on Jacksonville
Jacksonville High School knows what good quarterback play is all about. The McCown brothers - Randy, Josh and Luke - came through the school in the 1990s and set all kinds of records before moving on to college and eventually the pros.
Now, the Indians may be on the verge of another run of remarkable quarterback play. Junior signal caller Ryan Black was the offensive co-MVP in District 14-4A with blue chip receiver Trey Metroyer after completing 132 of 261 passes for 1,958 yards and 17 touchdowns and rushing for 250 yards.
