Pinkston taking things slow
The 2011 recruiting class in Mississippi is loaded at the wide receiver position.
Considered one of the very best is Forest standout Josh Pinkston. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder has already picked up scholarship offers from the big three in the Magnolia State.
"I really wasn't expecting all these offers this early," Pinkston said. "It's nice to have them but I'm really not focused on it. I'm not going to worry about. I'm not going to make my choice of where I am going to go until next year."
Pinkston likes what he has seen from the Bulldogs following their first season under head coach Dan Mullen.
"Mississippi State is one of my choices along with Ole Miss, Southern Miss and a couple more schools," Pinkston said. "They are trying to get back on the map and right now they are going in a good direction. Maybe if I go there I can help them to rebuild."
Pinkston planned on attending junior day in Starkville this past weekend but was unable to make it after inclimate weather pushed back his district basketball tournament until Saturday.
