Lincoln head coach Jason Bryant went into his team's CIF Division 2 title game with top-seeded Hoover announcing that his team matched up very well with the talented Cardinals. Not many people shared the same opinion, including Hoover coach Ollie Goulston. After the Hornets' 58-51 win over the Cardinals last Friday, it seems like most people (Goulston included) have done a 180 on their opinion of Lincoln, who held a 20-point lead at one point in the first half despite a down game for leading scorer Norman Powell (pictured).
