PF visiting Auburn, final decision soon

When Tony Barbee was announced as Auburn's new men's basketball coach in late March, recruiting the top talent in the country was one of the things he promised. Barbee is a man of his word. It's taken him just six weeks to prove it.

Last Thursday, four weeks into his new job, Barbee signed Lee-Huntsville forward Josh Langford, the state's No. 1 prospect in 2010, according to The Birmingham News. Next week, Barbee's sixth at Auburn, he's in line to sign Rivals.com's No. 8 power forward, Luke Cothron.

Cothron, 6-foot-8, 210 pounds from Flora McDonald Academy in Red Springs, N.C., is planning to visit Auburn Saturday. Cothron, also ranked the No. 33 overall prospect in the country by Rivals, is planning to sign a National Letter of Intent next week....
