Lynch ready to visit

During the month of April Syracuse offered Snellville (GA) Brookwood linebacker Cameron Lynch. Last week Syracuse offensive line coach Greg Adkins watched Lynch practice in person. CuseConfidential.com wanted to catch up with Lynch after the visit to see how everything went.

"Coach Adkins did come down to see me play spring ball," Lynch said. "It meant a lot to me, coming all the way down here from up north meant a lot. I have only talked with him a few times on the phone before he came down to see me. That makes me want to go up and see them, go to one of their camps."

Lynch, 5-foot-11, 220 pounds was on the offensive side of the ball for the most part when Adkins was watching, but he still feels it went well.

"I think I played well. We did not get that many reps in on defense because we were working on offense that day. When we switched to defense I played well, I plugged some holes and got right to the ball."

On the visit Lynch was unable to speak with the Syracuse coach on the visit. Lynch has also been unable to sit down with his high school coach to see what was said about him during the visit.

"I have not had a chance to sit down with my coach and talk about it because we have been so busy. The only time I really get to talk with Coach Cruz is during weight training, so I really haven't had a chance to sit down and talk with him about my recruiting."

The Georgia product has also been unable to speak with Coach Adkins, but a phone call should take place very soon.

"I actually have not talked with him about the visit. He has not contacted me yet, but I will contact him soon to let him know that I am coming up for camp."
