Scott is on a roll
Chicago (Ill.) Simeon junior defensive back prospect Darius Scott (5-foot-9, 145 pounds) was able to wrap up his spring evaluation process on a real roll this week. Scott has been able to add three recent offers to his ever list of growing suitors. Scott talks about his latest offers along with his upcoming summer camp plans in this recruiting update.
"My recruiting has been going really well lately," Scott said. "We had a lot of college coaches in school over the past month or so. I also was able to add three more offers over the last week or so and it seems like more and more schools are looking at me pretty hard now."
Scott talked about his latest scholarship offers.
"I received an offer from Wyoming a few weeks ago. They made an in school visit and a few days they offered me a scholarship. I also received offers this week from North Dakota State and Western Illinois. The coaches from both of those schools also made in school visits and then they offered a few days later. I really need to do some research on all three schools but I'm definitely going to check them all out. I'm excited to get offers from all of them."
Scott, who will be finishing his junior year of high school on June 18th is also gearing up for several college one day camps this summer.
"I'm planning to camp for sure at Bowling Green, Michigan State, Illinois, Ball State and Indiana this summer and I might also add a few others if I can fit them in."
Scott so far is happy with his recruiting process after the spring evaluation period.
"Overall it's been pretty good and it finished pretty strong for me. I have some offers from some good schools and some of the bigger level schools are interested. It's up to me now and how well I can camp this summer. I'm ready to show them what I can do."
Darius Scott has scholarship offers from Eastern Illinois University, Wyoming, North Dakota State and Western Illinois University.
