Bruins hope to raise the Barr
There is a good argument that Todd Barr (6-3, 265, 4.8) from Lakewood, Calif., is the best defensive lineman on the west coast. He is definitely one of the most versatile as he could line up at a variety of positions along the defensive front. There are a lot of schools that would agree with our assessment about Barr's ability.
Intangibles are also important for success on the football field and though there have been plenty of schools that have come by this spring to check Barr out his focus, as always, is on his team.
"When schools come out, I don't pay a lot of attention," Barr said. "I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I'm trying to focus on the task at hand, which is my team."
"Spring ball is always a foundation for a great year," Barr said. "Like I've always told people that the process is more important than the results.
"You have to put in a lot of effort in the process to get great results," Barr said. "So I try and focus on my team instead of lingering off towards other coaches, but after practice I will say a few words."
