10 Gator basketball tidbits

Once the Florida basketball team begins play, we'll worry about records, statistics, strength of schedules and RPI ratings. In today's edition of 10 Gator tidbits, we're going to tell you a little about the players themselves.

1. Guard Mike Rosario, a transfer from Rutgers who must sit out this season per NCAA rules, has so many tattoos, he's "lost count" of how much money he has spent on them. Since arriving at Florida during the offseason, he has added two more to his body. The one he recently got is of the famed Serenity Prayer, which is credited to theologian Reinhold Niebuhr. Another of his tattoos pays tribute to Duncan Projects, the area of Jersey City, N.J., in which he was raised. "I'm the only one where I came from who went to college," Rosario said.
