Way names a leader
Syracuse is trying to improve on its Florida recruiting. One of the prospects they are looking at is Robert Way from Belle Glade (Fla.) Glades Central.
Way, 6-foot-2, 200 pounds likes the Syracuse Orange. The prospect likes the Orange defense and thinks a visit to Syracuse could be in his future.
"I like Syracuse, I like the way they play defense. I feel like I could help the defense up there. They are a pretty good program," Way said. "I am trying to get in contact with them to set up a visit."
The Florida product likes the Orange defense, but he likes the Orange for another reason as well.
"They offered me like in August," Way stated. "When I first got it I was really happy because that was one of the biggest schools that came in. I was very excited about it."
Other than the Orange there are a few other programs looking at the three star prospect.
"Buffalo, Hampton, Marshall, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, and Florida State are also looking at me. Florida State just started looking they came to a game recently and I talked with one of the coaches. I have offers from all of the rest Florida State is just looking right now."
Out of those schools does Way have a favorite?
"I would say Marshall. I am really close with my recruiting close with my recruiting coach. I go on my visit to Marshall at the end of this month."
Even though Way has a leader right now he will not be ready to pick his school anytime soon.
"I will probably make my final decision on signing day."
