Favorite movie: Goodburger

Favorite music: "Any kind of rap or hip-hop. Lil Boosie is probably my favorite right now."

Favorite current NBA player and team: "Carmello Anthony is my favorite player and the Celtics are probably the team I most enjoy watching. I wouldn't say I'm a fan, I just like the way they play."

Favorite NBA player of all-time: Allen Iverson

If he could play any spot other than basketball: "I play football and baseball too but I would say my second favorite sport is probably football. I played quarterback for our school and that was always a lot of fun."

Favorite moment of his high school career so far: "Definitely winning state last year. We made it all the way to the championship game the year before and lost so it felt even better when we finally won the championship after all that hard work for two years."

On why Alabama was right for him: "Alabama was recruiting me harder and more consistently than anybody else pretty much from the beginning. Coach Grant just wouldn't back down and he knew I was the right player for their system and that Alabama was the right place for me. There wasn't really one moment where I decided on Alabama, it just kind of built up over time until I realized there was really no other school where I felt as comfortable and at home."

On his biggest strength on the floor: "I try really hard to be a well-rounded player but I think my strength is definitely my mid-range game. It has just always come naturally for me."

Favorite subject in school: "Actually, I've always really liked math. I've just always done well in math classes and even though a lot of kids think it's boring I have always really liked it."

On his expectations for his senior season: "We have a bunch of guys coming back from last season, really most of the core of the team that we won state with last year. I think we all really have high expectations for ourselves and we really believe we can make it back to state again and try and close out our careers with another championship."

On his relationship with fellow Tide signee Rodney Cooper: "Rodney and I have been good friends for a long time and I would say knowing that he wanted to commit to Alabama too made it a much easier decision for me. We were roommates all this summer when we played on the same AAU team and we have really started to develop a good chemistry on the floor. We have a good sense of each other out there and I think bringing that chemistry to Alabama will be a big plus for the team as a whole."
