Favorite NBA player of all-time: Michael Jordan

If he could play any sport other than basketball: "I played quarterback for my middle school football team and that would probably be my second choice behind basketball."

Favorite moment of his high school career so far: "This past summer, the AAU team Levi (Randolph) and I play for beat the Jackson Tigers who were kind of a rival for us. It was a great game and it's probably the best I've played in my career."

On why Alabama was right for him: "I think Levi and I both felt really good about Alabama from the very beginning but they never took us for granted, they stayed on us consistently and they made us feel at home. Every time I've ever been on campus, I have felt comfortable and felt like it was the place for me."

On his biggest strength on the floor: "I think my shooting is pretty strong but I would say my defense is probably my biggest strength. I pride myself on really giving a lot of effort on the defensive side of the floor."

On his expectations for his senior season: "I think we're going to have to do some work to figure out who we are as a team early on this season but I think we'll work on making it to the playoffs first and then worry about the next step from there. We have enough talent on our team to make it to state but being a great team is about a lot more than talent so we know we'll have to work hard."
