Hunt talks Syracuse and more

Syracuse has a stable of quarterbacks on their roster and that is one of the reasons in this recruiting class they only needed to take one prospect at the position. Terrell Hunt is the quarterback the Orange took and he will be on campus this weekend.

"I am looking forward to meeting all of the coaches and the Syracuse family. I want to see how they are as men," Hunt said. "I want to have a chance to get in the Dome and play a little catch at least."

This will not be Hunt's first visit to Syracuse, but the first visit to Syracuse after a winning season. A season that Hunt saw coming and he is happy about the quick turnaround Syracuse has made.

"It was a real big turnaround and they have not been to a bowl game in a long time, it was great. I could tell that it was going to happen quickly. All of the coaches are real determined to get the team going. I knew it was going to happen."

While Syracuse was enjoying their first winning season in a few years the Empire State product was keeping his eye on how the quarterbacks is used during a game.

"I just look at the quarterback. I look at how they talk with the quarterback, how they react to the coaches, and what mistakes they made."

Since the football season went well for Syracuse recruiting has picked up. Hunt has tried to get in touch with another New York prospect, but he has not had much luck. This weekend though he hopes to change that.

"I have been trying to call Brandon Reddish, but he doesn't answer the phone, he is like the president or something. He is taking his official tomorrow so I will see him this weekend."

Hunt's college team had a solid season, but his high school season was different. Even though his team did not have the greatest record Hunt put up some solid numbers.

"My season went well we finished 5-5. Myself, I did well I had about 3,000 all-purpose yards."
