Self, KU still searching for answers
It's safe to say that Wednesday night's game between No. 3 ranked Kansas (12-0; 0-0) and Texas-Arlington (5-6; 0-0) didn't necessarily play out as head coach Bill Self envisioned. While Self's squad dominated the Mavericks, 82-57, he wasn't particularly pleased with his team's effort, especially on the defensive end. However, minutes after the game, Self spoke highly of sophomore big man Thomas Robinson, who scored a game-high 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, along with sophomore guard Elijah Johnson, , who finished with 11 points, five assists, two steals and just one turnover.
