Dantonio, Narduzzi have in-home visit with Wright

SpartanMag.com was the first to report that Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio made an in-home visit with Paramus (N.J.) Catholic defensive tackle Marquise Wright, last night.

SpartanMag.com's Matt Dorsey texted Wright for his thoughts on the visit.

Wright responded: "Went well, Coach Dantonio and Coach Narduzzi are great people"

Wright confirmed that he had not made a commitment.

Wright will make what is expected to be his final official visit this weekend, to Rutgers.

"We are about an hour and 15 minutes from Rutgers," said Paramus Catholic head coach Chris Partridge.

Wright is ranked the No. 149 player in the nation by Rivals.com, in Rivals.com's updated player listings. He was ranked No. 69 in the nation last week, prior to the re-rankings.

Wright has visited Maryland, North Carolina and Michigan State. He visited Maryland prior to the Terps' coaching change. The Terps are thought to be out of contention for his services.

SpartanMag.com reported on Sunday night that North Carolina had pulled out of his recruitment, due to being out of scholarship slots for defensive tackles.

Wright originally committed to Pittsburgh in June, but reopened his recruitment after the firing of former Pitt head coach Dave Wannstedt.

Wright was once scheduled to visit the University of Miami this weekend, but canceled it after the Hurricanes' primary recruiter in New Jersey, Jeff Stoutland, left Miami to become offensive line coach at the University of Alabama.
