Foster talks SU verbal

Last week Kyle Foster was offered by Syracuse and it did not take him long to set up his visit and commit to the New York school. CuseConfidential.com caught up with Foster to go over the last week.

"They came in with the offer Tuesday of last week," Foster said. "When I made my official visit it made everything official than I committed."

The Orange had been on the Michigan prospect for a few months, but in that time he created a strong bond with Syracuse running back Tyrone Wheatley.

Foster's, father had a fine time at Syracuse and the visit was all the receiver prospect had hoped for as well.

"My visit to Syracuse was wonderful I loved it. The team is really family oriented and the coaching staff is amazing. I liked everything up there."

It was also his visit to Syracuse that put the Orange over the top.

"My defining moment was when I went up there and saw the campus and all of the players. I was amazed and I was like that is where I want to be. The town is great and they have a lot of fan support."

Not only was Foster pleased with his commitment, but the coaches were very pleased that he decided to go with them.

"The coaches were excited when I said I was coming," Foster stated. "I am looking forward to learning. I am looking forward to learning a lot from Coach Rob Moore. He has a lot of knowledge out there for me, so I am going to try to eat that up."

Besides Syracuse there were a few other programs looking at Foster.

"I had some other schools looking at me like Michigan, Appalachian State, Rutgers, Memphis, Tennessee, and Toledo came up to see me."

On Wednesday the new Syracuse verbal plans to sign his letter at his high school early in the morning and have a small reception at the school.
