Hale looking to exceed expectations
In 2011 Syracuse University made a huge push to upgrade their wide receiver depth and that mission was accomplished. One of those players that the Orange brought in is Keenan Hale.
Hale, 6-foot-3, 185 pounds was one of the first members of the class to fax in his letter of intent and he was excited about it.
"It feels amazing I am really excited and ready to get going."
During the recruiting process Hale did not know much about the Orange at first, but throughout the process he learned plenty about his new school.
"My thoughts changed on them a lot especially when I went up there on my visit and I had a chance to meet with the coaches face to face. At the start I did not know much about Syracuse other than they were up north and they had a decent football program. Getting to actually know the players and coaches and seeing their success this year I have been able to grow closer to the program."
The Orange may return a bunch of receivers and with that being the case Hale still feels he will push some of them for playing time.
"I feel that I bring an explosive game changing experience to the team," Hale said. "It is because of my growth and my work ethic is really good. I also plan on exceeding and not just doing what every receiver does going further and beyond the expectations. I want to get ahead and be the best I can be."
This past football season Hale put up numbers that show his explosive ability.
"I know I had about 867 yards on about 50 catches. I was an All-State selection as well."
