A.J. Doyle explains his commitment

On Sunday evening, NC State special teams and recruiting coordinator Jerry Petercuskie had a conversation with A.J. Doyle from Catholic Memorial in West Roxbury, Mass.

Doyle had long been a name on NC State's recruiting board at quarterback after he threw for around 1,800 yards and 16 touchdowns and ran for 400 more yards and three scores as a junior. He camped at NC State June 10 to try to earn an offer from the Pack. Doyle possessed offers from Massachusetts and Western Michigan, but NC State was one of Doyle's favorite schools.
