Indiana guard getting looks
July often gets talked about as a big month for college coaches, which it most definitely is. From a personal standpoint though, it's just as big--if not bigger--for the hordes of prospects hoping to catch the attention of an interested college coach. That's a trick that combo-guard Patrick Ingram managed to do with ease during the first week of the evaluation period.
"I feel like it's been a pretty good week, I've really been looking forward for a chance to play in front of all the coaches," Ingram said of his showing at the adidas Invitational in Indianapolis last week. "I've been working hard on my game and I've been anxious to show everyone what I can do."
Ingram (6-foot-2, 180 pounds), from North Central high school in Indianapolis impressed onlookers last week by helping his Eric Gordon Stars squad to a solid showing in a deep and talented tournament field at the summer's signature kickoff event.
