Defense answers the call

Well, message received, as the Mountaineers defensive unit forced four turnovers, and the Falcons had five in all, while sacking the quarterback twice in the 55-10 victory on Saturday.

"I think the weather helped us a little bit, but it was good to see obviously," Defensive Coordinator Jeff Casteel said. "But if you look real close we could of had a couple more. We had three interceptions and it was good to see."

Senior cornerback Keith Tandy had two interceptions in the first half, his first of the season, while Terence Garvin added another pick in the first half.
