Robinson looking out for No. 1

Noxubee County (Miss.) standout Darrell Robinson is still on the hunt for his first offer.

The 5-foot-10, 190-pound running back has visited Mississippi State, Memphis, Alabama State and Arkansas State this summer in search of that elusive scholarship.

"Who wouldn't want their first offer?," Robinson said. "I'm not going to lie, that would mean a lot to a person. It's real important this summer to go out and show what you can do. You're trying to get your offer and you're going to do everything you can to get that."

Robinson was one of the standouts at MSU's camp in June clocking in with a 4.38 forty time and leaping to a 31-inch vertical.

He has also showcased his skills as a receiver this summer working with the Tigers 7-on-7 team. Robinson helped lead Noxubee County to the large school title at the Bulldog Shootout and fared well at the Medicomp 7-on-7 tournament in Madison, Miss., as well.

Robinson would like to remain in the backfield at the next level but is willing to do whatever is best for the team.
