Miller talks goal line stands, cornerbacks
For senior cornerback Pat Miller the ball seemed to just hang in the air for minutes after he got his mitt on it and tipped it as James Madison was attempting to cash in on a scoring drive at the West Virginia six-yard line.
"I just said please somebody knock it down or come down with it," he said.
The pass floated there for a moment but landed safely into the arms of outside linebacker Tyler Anderson for an interception and the first turnover of the ball-game for the Dukes, but the second time in the quarter that the Mountaineers had stonewalled a James Madison goal-line threat.
