Taylor's Official Visit May Spell Out Future Position
From the moment four-star Tulsa East Central two-way star Stanvon Taylor had his offer from his lifelong favorite Oklahoma it really was only a matter of time before he made the Sooners his choice.
For Taylor often the biggest problem was simply finding rides to Norman to get to the various events around the program. However, this season he has made one trip after another including all three of the Sooners biggest battles of the 2012 season - Kansas State, Texas, and Notre Dame. His trip to watch the Sooners two weekends ago ended up becoming the state of Oklahoma's No. 2 prospect's official visit to Oklahoma.
"It was great, I got to hang out with the players and see what they go through on gameday, at least on home gamedays. It was just actually being there as a player. It was good, I really liked it a lot. It was a chance to see how the coaches treated you," Taylor said.
"I was with Aaron Colvin. He is from right around here and we've talked a few times and talking about everything and seeing how everything was, and how I fit in with what they are doing."
