Class of 2015 OL visits Iowa
After starting for Brownsburg High School as just a sophomore this past season, Class of 2015 offensive lineman Evan Mallory is already picking up major college interest. This week, the 6-foot-5, 295-pound Indiana native visited one of the schools showing the most interest, the University of Iowa, to see the Hawkeyes at work in spring practice.
"When I got there, I went into their office and Coach Johnson came out and showed us around," said Mallory. "We looked at the stadium, the locker rooms, the weight room, and all around the offices. We got to see the pink opponent's locker room in the stadium too. That was cool. Then we watched some of their practice."
Iowa's recruiting coordinator, Eric Johnson, has been staying in close contact with Mallory since his season ended. During the visit on Wednesday, the sophomore was able to get a better understanding of where he currently stands with the Hawkeyes.
