Hockaday visits Kinnick

The last time the Iowa Hawkeyes had Class of 2015 prospect Jack Hockaday on campus, he walked away with a scholarship offer after impressing the coaching staff at their camp in June. This weekend, the 6-foot-0, 199-pounder from Illinois was back in Iowa City where he watched the Hawkeyes' win over Missouri State at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday.

"That was my first game there," said Hockaday. "I really liked the atmosphere. It was a fun game and they got the win. It was good."

Hockaday, who attends Maroa-Forsyth High School, made the drive with his parents on Saturday and had a chance to learn more about the school and the football program at Iowa in addition to watching the game.

"We got there and ate breakfast and then show they showed us around the facilities a little bit," Hockaday said. "After that, we watched them warm up and then watched the game. Afterwards, they took me down to the locker room, so that was cool."
