Weekend Wrap: Maryland Edition
Two weeks ago, UVa lost at Pitt largely because two turnovers turned into two touchdowns and the offense couldn't get anything going, wasting what was an impressive display by the defense. Last week, UVa lost to Ball State largely because, in spit of offensive improvement, the Cavaliers were whistled for 13 penalties and committed three turnovers that led directly to 17 points.
Saturday at Maryland, in spite of a shaky performance on defense (the second in as many weeks), UVa did just about everything it needed to do offensively to get the victory. Unfortunately that "one" area of need was (again) the difference between winning and losing.
